Hilton wanted to launch a new hotel, infused with the culture of Earth’s best city: Brussels, Belgium Cleveland, Ohio. We helped brand their restaurants, crowd-source art installations, and recruit employees—and learned a lot along the way.
Do your research.
To ensure the Hilton felt wholly tailored to this city, we looked to our storied past. Inspiration is everywhere, so hop down that Wikipedia rabbit hole or take a visit to your local library. (This is how you end up with a bar named after the most famous Prohibition agent of all time.)
Get everyone involved.
To build excitement and add a personal touch, we invited Clevelanders to share their favorite spots in the 216. Their pictures ended up in this super cool mosaic, which provided both a gorgeous, Insta-worthy backdrop AND plenty of reasons for contributors to visit.
Meet people where they are.
A sky-scraping hotel would be nothing without a welcoming staff. So we used our media skillz to put place recruitment ads where they would actually be seen—and then straight up beamed when 276 new star employees were hired on the spot.
Don’t look down.
Take our word for it—32 stories is HIGH.
