Brokaw is searching for an energetic, enthusiastic Account Executive to join our Account Services Team. Must be ready to help great brands across B2B and B2C categories solve big challenges and achieve their business goals. At least three years of relevant work experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support strategic account leaders in the day-to-day management of key accounts—communicating with clients, developing and maintaining project status reports, managing timelines, and creating jobs within our project management systems
  • Collaborate with the account, strategy, and creative teams to write extremely focused and inspiring strategic plans and creative briefs
  • Feed the office pet (Bret, a very cuddly Venus flytrap)
  • Manage processes and timelines for accounts—including participating in the development of overarching strategy and briefs, initiating projects, overseeing necessary production and traffic processes, ensuring all internal and external approvals are complete, and verifying assets are delivered on-time to the appropriate destinations
  • Interact with strategy, media, creative, and production teams to ensure timely delivery of work that’s on strategy and in line with our creative standards
  • Monitor activity on accounts—open and track purchase orders against invoices for outside costs and manage monthly billing for agency services and outside costs
  • Learn as much as you can about the clients you work with, including information on their markets, their competitors, their audiences, their products or services, and their brands
  • Grow into a strategic leadership role, providing all your clients with fresh, un-blah, proactive, “always sunny in Cleveland” account leadership
  • Create secret handshakes and/or elbow bumps as needed

Must Be

  • Familiar with advertising and marketing—at least three years of relevant work experience preferred
  • Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and nice
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, “every day is different” environment
  • A creative problem solver and a dedicated teammate
  • Willing to learn new technologies and processes to support the needs of the agency and our clients
  • Unafraid to ask questions and enthusiastic about taking on new challenges
  • A strong communicator, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and partners
  • Open to drinking coffee brewed from Folgers crystals
